Anastasia Chechkova
I've done product marketing since the very start of my career. And I love it.
At university, I became Editor-in-Chief of a student publication and repositioned it from a newspaper into a magazine. It finally started speaking the student language and quickly became popular.
I'm a once-upon-linguist-turned-financier. And this rare combination helps me do my work better. I enjoy writing and communication. And I took a master's in corporate finance to understand the money side of businesses. During my studies, I focused on data analysis, which runs through my everyday work.
While doing my master's, I started working at FP&A Trends, a financial education consultancy, where I ran the full lifecycle and go-to-market for their products (events, research papers, webinars, and roundtables).
A few years later, I joined the global marketing agency HypeFactory. First hired as a content marketer, I, again, was drawn straight into positioning: building a new media publication from scratch, leading its launch, and developing frameworks to differentiate through content. The work was energizing enough that I started my own side gig helping newly launched startups sharpen their messaging.
All of it led to OnePageCRM, where I joined as a content marketer and became the company's first product marketer. I drive product adoption, report on revenue growth, build and ship positioning, interview customers, and shape the quarterly roadmap.
I never stop learning. Lately that's meant long hours in Claude Code, building handy automations and small tools.
Before all that, I was exploring product management. For example, building a mental-health mobile app concept that reached the finals of Bending Spoons' Productflows, and a student-app idea that placed third at DigiEduHack.
Outside work, you'll find me kayaking on the west coast of Ireland.
