My video marketing portfolio

I love videos and the craft it takes to create one.

Scripted and presented

Scripting is just one part of the video production process. I'm interested in all the moving pieces.

Here are two videos I scripted and also presented (yes, I'm quite proud of the Minecraft analogy in the first video 😁):

Hosting a webinar

It's not just marketing videos that I do.

I enjoy sharing knowledge with others, so when OnePageCRM released an MCP server, I hosted a webinar on it.

I have a soft spot for presentations. They invite dialogue and discussion.

You learn something while sharing what you learnt. Isn't it beautiful?

Demos

I'm a huge fan of writing. I can journal all day long. But sometimes it's better to show something once than to describe it a hundred times.

For example, when we released Section Dividers, there was no big announcement. That's a utility feature.

Nothing fancy, but incredibly useful for organizing CRM data.

A blog post wouldn't have drawn as much attention as a simple video (edited by me in Camtasia).

Shorts and Reels

I've also worked on Reels.

When OnePageCRM was looking for a developer, we wanted to encourage female software developers to apply. So I suggested a slightly different approach. It was back in the days when TikTok and Instagram were flooded with "I'm looking for a man in finance..." videos.

I took the music from the viral trend and rewrote the lyrics. One of my colleagues kindly offered to sing the song, and we published a Short on YouTube. It got over 11,000 views.

I don't only script and record Shorts. I edit them too.

Here are a few examples:

Scripts

I've scripted many videos over the last few years.

But a few really stand out.

These videos are good not just because of my scriptwriting skills, but also because of Brian, a great video producer at OnePageCRM.

Scripting for one presenter is a skill. But scripting for multiple presenters is a whole different ball game! That's what I did for the Sales Objections video.

For "How to Manage Client Tasks", I created a story. The video goes through everyday situations that are so familiar to a small business owner.

And the "Best CRM 2026" video has one of my most favorite intros.

The CRM market is oversaturated, so I created a simple framework to divide CRMs into clusters. It's called the VIS framework, where V stands for Value, I for Impact, and S for Speed.

The video starts with the presenter... wearing a high-vis jacket in a dark room (the dark room is the confusing CRM market!).

You can also see a brief appearance of Voldemort in one of the videos I scripted a few years ago. 😁
